Spin Flash Dryer for Precipitated Silica from Rice Husk Ash
Katalyzer Engineering Systems Pvt. Ltd. successfully executed a Spin Flash Dryer system for drying precipitated silica derived from rice husk ash. This advanced drying solution ensures efficient moisture removal while maintaining product quality and uniformity.

Process Overview:
The wet silica gel is introduced into the system through a twin-screw feeder, where it meets the hot air generated from a gas-fired hot air generator. Inside the Spin Flash Dryer, a high-speed agitator breaks down the lumps, allowing the material to come in direct contact with hot air, leading to efficient drying and the formation of fine powder. The dried product is then separated through a cyclone separator and collected for packing or storage. Residual fine powder is captured in a bag filter, ensuring minimal product loss and a clean process environment. An ID blower effectively manages airflow, maintaining system efficiency.
This project was executed with precision, delivering an optimized drying solution that meets the client’s requirements for high-quality precipitated silica production.
